2015 New Tim Holtz Crazy Bird and others

Oi pessoal,
Voces ja viram que fofos sao esses passarinhos do Tim Holtz? Umas gracinhas!!!

Hi everyone,
Have you seen these cute birds by Tim Holtz??? They are adorable!!!
I have the matching stamps and dies for the birds, accessories and words and I had the perfect project to use for our "book Club" at Charity Wings.

This is the page I made for Kam and her theme is: A little birdie told me.

I had my daughter to help me, although I didn't ask for her help :-) and I end up stamping and cutting several accessories until she was happy with the combination.

The page has a hinge and behind the bird Kam will find a birdhouse with the closing sentence. I used some Heartfelt Creations dies to cut the leaves and birdhouse and Stampin' Up! dies to cut the clouds.

Tudo bem tridimensional.
Everything very tridimensional.

Alguns materiais usados nessa composicao. Some of the supplies used for this project:

Aqui esta o vídeo onde eu mostro essas fofuras. Here is the video showing these babies:

Ja que estamos falando de book club, eu vou mostrar a outra pagina que eu fiz durante o crop que tivemos mes passado.
Since we are talking about book club... I am going to show you the other page I made last month during Charity Wings crop event and this page goes to Krystal.

Krystal theme is tangle so I got a page from one of my coloring books from Hot of the Press and I watercolored. I used bronze Smooch to so some detailing as well as Wink of Stella pen. The focal point is the heart that it is on the background, but I decided to give some more life adding a Prima resin by Sandra Evertson.

I used spray paint and mica powder to get some shading.

E pra encerrar... meus ATCs. Last... my ATCs :-)
The theme is Turkey Time so I decided to make my turkeys using dies and punches. So much fun!!!

Ufa!!! Por hoje eh so :-)
That is it for today!!!!

Djana

Art class at Charity Wings: Polymer Clay

Greetings!
To be a volunteer at Charity Wings has lots of connections. Besides the rewarding feeling of helping my community, sharing my skills with others, making art, I have fellowship. There I get to enjoy the company of others like me. I have that feeling of belonging that I don't feel in a lot of places.

Last Thursday one of the most precious volunteers, Kelly hosted a Polymer Clay to the volunteers and members. It was so much fun. I've wanted to learn how to use polymer clay for a long time. I actually purchased the materials necessary however never had a successful project done until this class. Kelly is a tremendous artist, a generous person with a big heart. Thank you!!!

Now I am going to share some of my step by step... Clay conditioned and trimmed down.

Then we get to cut in half to create a block then strips...

To create a sequence and also a checker block.

From there I got to make a cane, funny one :-)

And then cutting into beads pieces.

Back at home... while I was finishing my beads, using one tool, my husband come to show me an old rod and how funny was that both had the same shape being so different.

Here is an overall of my bead pieces.

Close up.

And after baking.

I can't wait to use them in my projects and making jewelry 100% handmade.

So, are you up for some fun??? Next class will be on July 10. Check it out: Polymer Clay Class.

See you next time!
XOXO,

Djana

May Charity Wings Scrapbook Club @Mortino YMCA by Nature to Body

Greetings!
One more Scrapbook Club done and what a wonderful time we had.

We used BoBunny papers to create our base. The layout used here is also a BoBunny inspiration from the Forever Young collection.

And I had an extra help from Linda!

Michael loved the new glue dots made from ScraPerfect Beat Glue Ever.

He could work more independently and embellished his page all by himself! What a great accomplishment. And I can't go on without saying thank you Amy from ScraPerfect for your generous donations and sincere support.

And one of the leaders screamed how much she loves the Best Glue Ever! Fun, fun, fun!!!

Until next month with one more Scrapbook Club at Mottino YMCA.
XOXO,
Djana
